Amanda Dalla Villa Adams
Amanda Dalla Villa Adams holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from Virginia Commonwealth University. After relocating to Cincinnati last summer, Amanda has been pursuing her masters in art history at the University of Cincinnati where her research is concentrated on contemporary art and theory. She has written on such topics as Ed Ruscha, Andrea Zittel, installation art, entropy, social systems theory and heterotopias.
While in Richmond, VA, Amanda worked as a gallery assistant at an artist-run co-op and is currently a gallery assistant at the Meyers and Reed Gallery on UC's campus. Additionally, Amanda is a cataloguer at Cowan's Auctions Inc. in the Painting, Sculptures & Works on Paper department, where she has the opportunity to see the inner workings of the art market up close.
